slipperz be mine!

these jeans don't actually fit anymore. they're being held together with a hair elastic. it's a peculiar feeling, watching myself quickly grow out of my clothes. 

i'm obsessed with Mama Bee Belly Butter. i rub it on every morning and night. the first time i used it JJ was staring at me. so i explained that it's to help with the elasticity of my skin as my belly grows. then i asked him if he wanted some on his belly before his next big meal. hahhaha i laughed. he didn't.

do you know what LUCK i had yesterday?! i mean, this is quite possibly one of the most lucky things that has ever happened to me. i popped into TJ to buy olive oil (they always have fancy brands for the same price as the shitty bertolli stuff at the grocery store). and well, you know, i'm a girl. so i quickly walked passed the shoe section. AND WHAT MAGICALLY APPEARS?! THE EXACT PAIR OF SMOKING SLIPPERS THAT I WANTED. AT HALF THE PRICE! obviously it was a sign that they needed to be mine. so i snatched them off the shelf and hugged them to my chest, smiling the whole way up to the cash register. nothing warms my heart quite like a good TJ Maxx find. i wore them all evening shuffling around the house joyfully pretending i was a glitzy old man. 

also i found ricotta cheese at target yesterday for $1.58. just maddening. i hate the grocery store. it's highway robbery in there. the only reason i'm ever going from now on is for produce.
